Spring is time for Mulching!
Reder Landscaping offers one of the most expanded lines of mulch available in the Tri-Cities area. Spruce up the appearance of your landscape by re-mulching those flower and shrub beds. Mulching also benefits your shrub beds by helping to retain moisture, control weeds, prevent erosion and protects plants from temperature extremes.

How much mulch do I need for my flower and shrub beds?
- Measure your beds (length x width)
- Deduct 20-30% for plant & shrub space. You now have the square feet for the area of your beds.
- There are two different formulas to follow to calculate the proper amount of mulch needed.
- When purchasing 3 cubic foot bagged mulch: divide the Square feet of your beds by 15-20. (Use the a higher number like 20 if you are re-mulching and existing beds. Use a lower number like 15 if you are mulching a new area that has not been previously mulched)
- When purchasing Bulk mulch for large areas: divide the square feet of your beds by 120-160. (Use the a higher number like 160 if you are re-mulching and existing beds. Use a lower number like 120 if you are mulching a new area that has not been previously mulched)
