Winter is the time when many people look out over their snow-covered landscapes and envision the projects they’d like to do when spring comes.  We at Reder Landscaping are no different, as we’ve been spending these winter months imagining the beautiful display gardens that we’ve been planning for our property.

As many of you know, the big news for Reder Landscaping in 2014 was the completion of our new office building.  As we wrote on our blog last winter, the new building was something that had been in the planning stages for many years and we finally decided to proceed with construction because we desperately needed more space for our growing company. Cobblestone Homes did an incredible job for us, and when we moved into our new office building in April, it was like a dream come true!

Just as our new building was the big news for us in 2014, the big news for 2015 will definitely be the installation of the beautiful display gardens that we’ve always wanted  for our customers. They are going to be spectacular!

The design of these display gardens has been a collaborative effort of all the Reder Landscaping Designers.  The intention of these gardens is not just to show off different types of plants and materials.  They will be incredibly beautiful landscapes where our customers can relax and experience different outdoor environments of the high quality that Reder Landscaping has been designing and building for more than 30 years.

To give you an idea of what to expect, here’s a list of some of the features that you’ll see in our display gardens:

  • Outdoor Kitchen and Bar
  • Pergola
  • Fireplace and Fire Pit
  • 3 Types of Water Features
  • Sunken Patio
  • Seat Walls
  • Extensive Landscape Lighting
  • Natural Stonework of all kinds
  • Various Types of Brick Pavers
  • Lots of Trees, Shrubs and Perennials
  • Large, Shaded Lawn
  • State-of-the-Art Irrigation Systems

Construction on the display gardens began towards the end of the fall in 2014, and we’ve even been able to install some of the hardscaping this winter.  The construction schedule for the spring for 2015 will be dependent on the weather and the needs of our customers, so it’s difficult to project a completion date.  However, we’re hoping for a “Grand Opening” some time in late spring.

In the meantime,  we’ll be posting updates on the progress of the display gardens, and our customers will be able to stop by the office any time and check out the construction.
