PHILOSOPHY

“I believe that a well-designed and inspired space not only improves personal opinion, but can evoke emotion and a desire to spend more time outdoors with family and friends.  One of my most cherished memories since being in this industry was finally installing my personal in-ground pool, patio and gas fire pit.  I look forward to coming home to a backyard full of family and friends, even when they’re not invited!  The conversations around the fire pit with my wife and children are memories that I will never forget.”

STEVEN BAILLIE

Steve joined the Reder team as aLandscape Design designer in 2004, bringing 13 years of previous landscape experience with him.  Born and raised in Saginaw, Steve spent his younger years working for a local landscape contractor on a wide range of projects before attending Michigan State University and earning a Bachelors degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design.

While attending Michigan State University, Steve spent the summers as an intern in Port Huron and in the Northeast Detroit area where he was exposed to a wide range of design styles, installation methods and large scale projects.  Some of his most influential experiences that shaped his design style came from designing and installing projects on Lake Huron, St Clair River and Grosse Pointe.

Long out of college now, Steve resides in Saginaw with his wife and three sons.  His passion for creating personal outdoor living spaces has flourished in the past 16 years.  His goal is not only to create memorable outdoor spaces for each one of his clients, but to use solid design principles to help each client realize the potential in their own backyard.
